こんばんは本日は5市町村の食生活改善推進協議会が消費者代表として参加できるJAさがえ西村山安心安全懇親会に出席してまいりました。5市町村の首長の皆様から無袋フジを受け取った小学校の児童や先生の笑顔は、私たちにとって最高の宝物となりました。
寒河江の小姫芋、河北町のイタリア野菜、大江の枝豆、朝日町のりんご等、地域の食材がいっぱい詰まったとても美味しいランチボックスをいただきました。
また、JAの安心安全への取り組みとして、残留農薬の検査報告や、消費者代表からの貴重なご意見もたくさん拝聴できました。特に、今年初めてJA我孫子組合長から直接対応策についての答弁があり、非常に有意義な時間を共有できました。
皆様の食の安心と安全への努力に感謝して、フードマイレージの少ない地元食材を選ぶ賢い消費者となれるよう、今後ともどうぞよろしくお願い申し上げます。
Good evening Today, I attended the JA Sagae Nishimurayama Safety and Security Social Gathering, where the Food Improvement Promotion Councils from five cities and towns participated as consumer representatives. The smiles of the elementary school children and teachers who received bagless Fuji apples from the mayors of the five cities and towns were the greatest treasure for us.
I enjoyed a delicious lunchbox packed with local ingredients such as Sagae’s Koimo (small taro), Kahoku Town’s Italian vegetables, Oe’s edamame, and Asahi Town’s apples.
In addition, as part of JA’s efforts toward safety and security, I was able to listen to many valuable opinions from consumer representatives as well as reports on residue pesticide inspections. In particular, for the first time this year, we heard a direct response from the JA Abiko union president about countermeasures, and it was a very meaningful time.
With appreciation for everyone’s efforts to ensure safe and secure food, I look forward to our continued cooperation so that we can become wise consumers who choose local ingredients with low food mileage.
