今夜は、オランダ在住のブエノスアイリス出身のカップルが我が農園を訪れ、フジりんごの収穫体験を楽しまれました。その後、彼らとともに芋煮クッキングのイベントが開催されました。その場で偶然にも九州からお越しのゲストと意気投合し、心温まる夕食会を開きました。
今夜のメインディッシュは、なんと彼らの手による芋煮。料亭の一杯のように、薄味ながらもごぼうと米沢牛の芳醇な旨味が凝縮されていて、素晴らしい一品でした。さらに、鹿児島出身の紳士が醤油、砂糖、酢を加えてその味をさらに昇華させ、独自のアレンジを施しました。
他にも、最上川で獲れた新鮮な鮎、栗おこわ、グラニースミスを使ったタルトタタン、そして肉まんが揃い、あたたかい緑茶で心も体も満たされたひとときでした。楽しい会話と美味しい料理が彩った素敵な夜となりました✨。
Tonight, a couple from Buenos Aires, who live in the Netherlands, visited our farm and enjoyed the experience of harvesting Fuji apples. Afterwards, we held an imoni cooking event with them. By chance, we hit it off with a guest from Kyushu there, and held a heartwarming dinner.
Tonight’s main dish was their hand-made imoni. Like a bowl of ramen at a traditional Japanese restaurant, it was a wonderful dish with a light flavor but condensed rich umami of burdock and Yonezawa beef. In addition, a gentleman from Kagoshima added soy sauce, sugar, and vinegar to further sublimate the flavor and give it his own unique arrangement.
In addition, we had fresh sweetfish caught in the Mogami River, chestnut rice, tarte tatin made with Granny Smith, and meat buns, and it was a time when both body and mind were filled with warm green tea. It was a wonderful evening filled with fun conversation and delicious food✨.
