おはようございます。昨日の晩、朝日町農業委員会主催の地域計画ワークショップに参加しました。今年度のワークショップも二回目の開催となり、多くの貴重な意見が交わされました。参加者として、地域の農業を支える責任を改めて感じましたが、特に荒廃している土地の多さに驚かされました。このような荒れた土地を放置するのは非常にもったいないですよね。
日本の農業は多くの挑戦を抱えていますが、その中でも遊休農地の活用は大きな課題の一つです。新規就農者にこれらの土地を繋ぐことで、自給自足率の向上を促し、農業の新たな発展への道を切り開いていきたいと思います。未来の農業のために、一歩一歩確実な歩みを進めていきましょう。
この取り組みが、地域の活性化だけでなく、環境の持続可能性にも寄与することを心より願っています。ご協力に感謝いたします。
Good morning. Last night, I participated in a regional planning workshop organized by the Asahi Town Agricultural Committee. This was the second workshop of the year, and many valuable opinions were exchanged. As a participant, I felt a renewed sense of responsibility to support local agriculture, but I was particularly surprised by the amount of degraded land. It would be a waste to leave such degraded land.
Agriculture in Japan faces many challenges, but one of the biggest challenges is the utilization of idle farmland. By connecting these lands to new farmers, we would like to encourage self-sufficiency and pave the way for new development in agriculture. Let’s take steady steps one by one for the sake of the future of agriculture.
I sincerely hope that this initiative will not only contribute to the revitalization of the region, but also to environmental sustainability. Thank you for your cooperation.
