最近、フランスから訪れたカーペンターのゲストが、日本の宮大工を目指し、再び日本に戻って来ることを約束してくれました。伝統技術、特に日本の木組みに心を打たれたとのことで、その情熱と夢を応援したいと思います。彼が再び日本の地で伝統を学び、夢を実現する姿を想い描くと胸が踊ります。

It is always a pleasant surprise and a moment of gratitude when we meet guests who come back to our guesthouse. It is truly a miracle of a once-in-a-lifetime encounter when a guest we met in a faraway foreign land visits us again as if it were their “hometown”✨.
Recently, a carpenter guest from France promised to come back to Japan again with the aim of becoming a Japanese shrine carpenter. He was impressed by traditional techniques, especially Japanese timber frame construction, and we would like to support his passion and dream. It makes my heart dance when I imagine him returning to Japan to learn traditions and realize his dream.
